Personal projects, kept separate
Girder is the name Abhinav Roy uses for his personal projects in industrial cyber security. This page sets out the lines he keeps between those projects and any employer.
Not a business
- Girder is not a company. It has no customers or clients, and no revenue.
- Nothing is sold: no products, no subscriptions, no paid content. Everything published under Girder is free.
- No sponsorship and no advertising. No vendor pays for, reviews or influences anything here.
- This site does not offer consulting or advisory services, and Girder does not bid for or take on work.
Separate from any employer
- The projects are done in Abhinav's own time, with personal accounts and services.
- They use no employer time, equipment, tools, code, data or confidential information, and nothing learned from a customer.
- They do not compete with any employer and are not offered to anyone's customers.
- Nothing here is reviewed, endorsed or published by an employer. The views are Abhinav's own and do not represent any employer, customer or vendor.
- Industrial Cyber Brief leaves the editor's employer out of its coverage, and says so on its methodology page, so that no story can look like commentary on it.
Public sources only
Every story in the Brief comes from a published source that is named and linked: government CERTs, vendor advisories, trade press and public research. Descriptions of Abhinav's own career stay at the level of a public CV, with no customer names, internal figures or confidential detail.
If something looks wrong
If anything here appears to cross one of these lines, please say so: abhinav@girder.in. It will be corrected or removed the same day.
Small print
- Product and company names belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
- girder.in sets no cookies, runs no analytics and has no forms. An email you send is used only to reply.
- Content is offered as general information, not as advice for any particular site. Check vendor advisories and your own risk assessment before acting. The Brief's own terms are on its legal page.
